During his third medical mission to Damoh, India, Dr. Trovato had the opportunity to evaluate many patients on whom he performed surgery on last year’s trip, including a child with a total upper extremity reconstruction for a disabling elbow and hand burn contracture. He has recovered complete hand function, and only suffers from excessive attention from LEAP volunteers thanks to their life-changing reconstructive work.
